The UXalliance Masterclasses have regularly occurred twice a year, since their first edition in 2010.
From New Zealand to Europe, from Africa to America, our conferences have taken us, and you, literally around the world. We want to give all of you, wherever you live, the opportunity to come and meet our experts and your colleagues, so keep an eye on future editions.

MEXICO CITY 2016

Building the UX Maturity, the main topic of the 12th UX Masterclass, brought together global UX professionals to Mexico. The full day event took place at the 51th floor, the highest UX Masterclass ever! The 12th Masterclass was organized by UXalliance partner Usaria, a user experience company with offices in Mexico and Colombia. It hosted 16 international speakers that shared knowledge and thoughts about the maturity model and how to increase UX maturity at the workplace.

SYDNEY 2015

The 11th UX Masterclass brought together experts from the fields of user experience, innovation, customer research, and digital intelligence from Australia and around the world. The UX Masterclass in Sydney was hosted by PwC’s Digital Services, the Australian partner of the UXalliance. Set to the backdrop of Sydney’s Darling Harbour water views, 13 speakers from Australia and across the world shared their perspectives on the theme of ‘Leveraging the potential of UX’.

NEW YORK 2014

The 10th conference in the series was brought to New York by GfK. The day-long event, “UX and Market Research: Bridging the Gap,” focused on attracting, delighting, and retaining customers in a highly competitive, global marketplace. Presentations highlighted how to combine user experience and market research techniques to understand customer needs, design with the customer in mind, measure to retain competitive advantage, and -in short- ensure success.

 

BANGALORE 2014

For the ninth and latest edition of the UX Masterclass we moved to Bangalore, India. Our first Masterclass in the Asian continent was organized by UXalliance partner PeepalDesign. 25 speakers from over 20 countries represented the most successful UX companies in the world. In a stimulating environment, our experts shared their knowledge and thoughts with an interested audience, and attendees exchanged views and gained inspiration by comparing experiences and ideas.

MADRID 2013

The 7th edition of the UXalliance Masterclass took place in Madrid. Organized by UXalliance with Xperience Consulting and UserZoom, it hosted more than 28 UX professionals from 25 different countries, who shared with the Spanish public their most interesting case studies and most challenging projects. This Masterclass gave the attendees the opportunity to be acquainted with the latest trends and practices in user experience with a focus on digital services and products.

PRAGUE and ROME 2013

Autumn 2013 Masterclass has split into two events. On October 2nd some of our most esteemed experts were hosted in Prague by UXalliance and experienceu for an inspiring review of the latest trends in user experience.
Two days later an equally illustrious panel of specialists shared their knowledge and expertise with a mainly Italian audience, under the auspices of UXalliance and our Italian partner assist.
Both events were attended by an eager gathering of professionals.

MOSCOW 2012

The Marriott Courtyard Moscow City Center was the wonderful setting for the 6th edition of the Masterclass, the first UXalliance event to be held in Moscow. Hosted by UXalliance and UIDesign Group, this Masterclass offered its attendants interesting lectures on usability and UX related topics, besides an enlightening, at times hilarious, presentation on the most common stereotypes and cultural differences between countries which UX professionals need to be aware of.

JOHANNESBURG 2012

Held in Johannesburg, the 5th UXalliance Masterclass mainly addressed issues relating to digital products by investigating the role of user experience in a product’s lifecycle. Top level UX experts shared their knowledge on best practices, recent developments and case studies from all over the world. They examined challenges and offered solutions; they discussed investment perspectives; and they shared their winning methodologies with an enthusiastic audience.

CHICAGO 2011

Cohosted by UXalliance and User Centric, one of the major user experience research companies in the United States, the Chicago edition of the UX Masterclass offered presentations by over 30 speakers from 25 countries to a large international audience of executives and professionals. Their lectures covered various issues, from current industry best practices to new research methods, especially concerning mobile technology, user-centered design and eye tracking.

COPENHAGEN 2011

SnitkerGroup, the Danish partner of the UXalliance, hosted the third UXMasterclass in Copenhagen. The global conference offered a day full of tutorials dealing with design, new methods, eye-tracking, and personas. On the 1st of April, 36 speakers – user experience producers, designers, researchers – from 19 countries gave the participants insight into design, apps, and mobile experiences: what can actually be developed, what is best-practice and what are the conventions.

MONTREAL 2010

The UXalliance brought together an international group of world renowned experts at the second UX Masterclass in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was Montreal’s first User Experience conference and involved 25 speakers from 15 different countries. Hosted by the UXalliance Canadian partner, Yu Centrik , the exclusive event addressed current and future challenges facing UX researchers and enthusiasts including real world examples of innovative technologies and methods.

AUCKLAND 2010

The first UX Masterclass was held in New Zealand. UXalliance and Optimal Usability joined forces to organize this inaugural event which hosted distinguished professionals from the most successful UX agencies all over the world. The speakers shared their expertise on a great variety of topics – ranging from customer experience to usability and design – with an audience which included all levels of a company, from CEOs and managers through designers and usability professionals.
